Valley Sunset Bowl

This is a one-of-a-kind bowl measuring 16″ diameter. It’s created with reclaimed glass, pigments and variegated metal foil.

I live in the central valley, a rural area of California where the sunsets are spectacular even though I have no view of the ocean. Once in a while, we get a low sunset that picks up an atmospheric brilliance that makes photographs seem like liars.
