Inspired by Koi, this sanke diptych is inspired by my favorite type of fish. Sanke are typically red and white and black koi that are so well known. The texture of the portal creates an effect similar to the glint of color underneath the water of a koi pond. This diptych is created with reclaimed glass, pigments, ink, and mixed media.
