Sanke Dynamic Portal Diptych

Inspired by Koi, this sanke diptych is inspired by my favorite type of fish. Sanke are typically red and white and black koi that are so well known. The texture of the portal creates an effect similar to the glint of color underneath the water of a koi pond. This diptych is created with reclaimed glass, pigments, ink, and mixed media. The set arrives ready to hang and includes both piece, one 11″ and one 9″ diameter.

Custom Color Commission

I view each commission as a collaboration.  So, when I was asked to create a six-piece ombre set with custom colors, I was thrilled.
