To accomplish this, I used several shades of green to create a flow which draws your eye around the rim and into the center. The green is broken with large veins of russet and brought to life with rose copper.

The piece is created from reclaimed glass and finished in pigment and metallic foil. Each piece undergoes an extensive multi-step process, taking approximately two weeks to create.

This limited production piece measures 9″ wide x 3″ tall.

We discussed several options, and settled on a 12″ shallow bowl that would fit perfectly in her dark wood shelving unit.

The shelving above our wet bar needed an object of art. I wanted something unique and in a medium we didn’t already have throughout the house. I came across Mira’s shop and knew immediately that one of her exquisite glass bowls would make a perfect addition to our home.

While I was reminiscing about my favorite outfit from 1983 (pink and green shirt/short set), I realized that it’s actually a common combo. Flowers do it all the time with their pink blossoms and green stems.
