New Work – Red Circular Wall Hanging

This reclaimed glass wall hanging is finished in red and black pigments and variegated metallic foil.  Each piece measures 6 – 7″.  When hung together as a triptych, the overall dimensions will vary depending upon the installation configuration chosen.  A keyhole-type hanger is permanently affixed to the back of each piece providing for secure hanging.  Although the triptych can be hung in any configuration, the permanent keyhole hangers affixed to the back of each piece require that each piece is hung with the black towards to the top and the red towards the bottom, as shown.

New Work – Kintsugi #2 of the Mendings

Reclaimed Glass, pigments, variegated copper foil, silver-toned foil.  Measurements: 30″ wide x 19″ tall.  Appropriate for horizontal or vertical installation. What is Kintsugi? Kintsugi (金継ぎ?) (Japanese: golden joinery) or Kintsukuroi (金繕い?) (Japanese: golden repair) is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-etechnique.  As a philosophy it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

New Work – MRMC Commision

Newly finished, this is a wall Installation for the Milford Regional Medical Center emergency room located in Milford, Massachusetts. The colors in the piece are made to coordinate with the hospital’s theme colors. Created from reclaimed glass, pigments, and variegated copper foil.  Total installation measures 40 x 40.” Detail, Lover Left Panel
